So, I am constantly asked if we offer conceal weapons permit classes... ???
Well, the answer is... ...NO.
When asked how that is, ill return back by clearing the air, we offer small classes and even individual training classes but do not believe we need to offer a class or training for a "permit" that acts more as a registry than anything else. We will then go on to inform you that here in the state of IDAHO, as long as you are legal gun owner over 21 years of age, you do not need a permit to carry concealed.
Yes, getting a permit does grant you to IDAHO's reciprocity agreements for concealed carry permits with 34 other states. However here in IDAHO as long as you meet the two legal terms you do not have to retain a permit to carry concealed (21 years of age and legal gun owner).
So, in short, we see the permit process as more of a red-flag or in-short a state held registry for "possible" firearm possession.
WE ARE ALWAYS IN FAVOR A WELL TRAINED AND EDUCATED POPULATION!
